Well, you all know how special this place is to us! They not only gave us the very best care, but they also made a hospital setting feel like home for 11 months of Leah’s life. When we asked their director of the Child Life program how #TeamLeah can support their work this is the list she gave us:
Toddler toys and infant toys that light up and make sound are always in high demand!
Interactive and musical toys.
Gifts for teens, especially teen boys, to have on hand for birthdays and special events.
New release blue ray movies
Light projectors and sound machines
Arts and craft supplies, especially complete craft kits
Strangely, we could use HDMI cords that connect PS4 controllers to the game system. We switched to PlayStation and the wireless controllers sync to the system via the HDMI cable, but people keep stealing the cords so we can’t sync the controllers and can’t use them!
One big ticket item we always have on our wish list is the hurricane tube. We used to have two and they were great for the delayed kids with sensory issues but they both broke and were leaking so we’re interested in the ones without water.
